A Practical Alternative to Hiring In-House
Many organizations need help with websites, marketing, and communication but don’t need—or can’t justify—a full-time employee. Working with an experienced independent professional provides access to a wide range of skills without the cost and complexity of hiring in-house staff. Because I already understand the tools and platforms involved, projects move efficiently and can adapt as your needs change. I often work alongside existing teams to provide support with website management, content development, communications, and online strategy.

Creating meaningful content today often involves a mix of research tools, digital platforms, and writing technology. As part of my workflow, I sometimes use AI-assisted tools to help organize research, explore ideas, and streamline early drafts. These tools make the research process faster, but they don’t replace the thinking behind the work.
Every article and piece of content is carefully reviewed, edited, and shaped to reflect the voice, expertise, and goals of the client. The result is content that remains thoughtful, accurate, and genuinely helpful to readers.

How are my services more affordable than hiring an employee?
For starters, much of the work I do for companies is at least partly deductible (check with your accountant). Because I know what I'm doing and do not require training, I get the job done quicker and with the highest level of professionalism. As an independent contractor hiring me is an affordable option for a smaller company due to the level of knowledge I have for all things online marketing. I can easily integrate with your company’s team to provide consulting, website design support and maintenance, create or support graphic design projects, help with public relations & communications and I can assist with most any project.
OPTIMAL PACKAGE for Social Media Marketing
1-2 posts per week >>> $90-180/week (bi-monthly also available)
This works well for businesses with a functional website and social platforms already set up. The package includes content creation for posts which may include research news, service specific articles (500 words or less), events, etc. And customized ads for posting to social platforms (linking back to your website).
This involves posting articles directly to client website newsfeed and sharing these articles to social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) Typically also include recruiting followers, improving impact of ads via audience selection for paid advertising, and improving layout/design of social media pages.
OPTIMAL PACKAGE for Email Marketing
Monthly Newsletter set up and mailed out via your email marketing provider (Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.). For clients who require content generation: $320/month (may vary depending on hours involved). For clients who provide the content: $160-200/mo. - Bi-Monthly $290
Newsletters are by far the best way to keep in touch with your community. To have a good newsletter you need to have news, so this offer may include creating content (articles) for the newsletter which are posted to your website newsfeed. Typically three to four articles are best with at least 2 of those being actual news. Additional articles can be drawn from existing website content that talk about services or products, or archived news where applicable.
Services may be provided in these sample formats (suggested for routine services such as social media management, website maintenance, content creation):
On a monthly basis - 8 hours (or more)
On a weekly basis - 3-5 hours (or more)
On a daily basis - 1-2 hours (or more)
